Book for the month of August:
“Socialism: Utopian and Scientific” by Friedrich Engels
Extracted from one of Engels’s larger works (Anti-Dühring), in this book Engels explains the difference between Utopian and Scientific socialism, placing emphasis on the role of Marxism in the latter. In doing so, he constructs an argument for how scientific socialism will be needed to bring about substantial social change.
